We are celebrating our Aussie culture! Dress your child in Aussie gear for the day.
We are acknowledging ‘Find a Rainbow Day’ (Sunday 3rd April) by celebrating with a colours week. Monday –Blue Tuesday - Green Wednesday -Yellow Thursday - Red Friday - RAINBOW! The children will be encouraged to wear these colours and the staff will involve the children in experience to promote colour recognition.
ANZAC Day is the anniversary of the landing of troops from Australia and New Zealand on the Gallipoli Peninsula. The bravery of all military personnel who participated in this campaign and the lives of those who died in all military actions are remembered. Anzac Day goes beyond the anniversary of the landing on Gallipoli in 1915. It is the day on which we remember Australians who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. Today we will be making Anzac Biscuits, Decorating Poppies and talking to the children about the importance of Anzac Day.
International Composting Awareness Week Australia (ICAW), is a week of activities, events and publicity to improve awareness of the importance of compost, a valuable organic resource and to promote compost use, knowledge and products. At Jenny’s we will continue to educate the children on the importance of composting.
Come to Jenny’s ELC Epsom dressed in Red and bring a gold coin donations to help fund research to support people living with MS.
This is an annual event organized by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) to improve asthma awareness and care around the world. We will promote the education of Asthma with children and Families.
